Challenge
Spin is a SaaS platform designed to solve a critical challenge for legal professionals in Brazil: the slow, complex, and error-prone manual calculation of sentence pardons and commutations. The goal was to transform this insecure and inefficient workflow into a fast, reliable, and auditable digital experience, based on a comprehensive technical requirements document.
Approach
My role was to design the complete user experience for the spin platform. This involved structuring the core user flows, including a multi-step onboarding process (registration, subscription, and payment) and a dual-path system for inmate registration (AI-assisted and manual). The main focus was on designing the interactive calculation dashboard, which provides real-time results. A key part of the work was also structuring the clear, auditable outputs: the detailed Calculation Memory, the secure PDF Report with QR code verification, and an in-app Petition Draft editor.
